| OTHER STUFF THATS HAPPENING AT WTY THIS MONTH OFFICIALS MEETING Saturday 27th March 11am at O’Brien Livestock Office – Next to Garryowen Fine Food in Wudinna. IMPORTANT that all people interested in being a judge, Flag person or timekeeper come along. It will be a short session on the rules and how to undertake the above positions so that the days run smoothly and fairly. We are struggling each month to find enough people to fill the officials roster and without the help of the riders and spectators taking on these jobs there will be NO team yarding. ROD BOURLET CANCELLED – BUT WE HAVE A REPLACEMENT FOR THE SAME WEEKEND Bill Willoughby will be conducting a two day clinic in place of the Rod Bourlet Clinic in April. Cost will be $90/day for members which will include cattle. There is limited rider positions so please contact Tash asap if you would like to attend. Those who registered for Rod please let me know if you want to attend – I am not automatically assuming you will attend. CHALLENGE EVENT The committee has decided this year to run a fun challenge event that members can enter. It has been designed with the intention to help members to keep improving there horsemanship skills and have some fun. It is not compulsory, and entry forms will be available at the shed during March. Participants will be given there challenge in April and will “Show and Tell” in September. A example of a challenge event for Tash and her lack of confidence with speed may be to beat Robbie at a race to the end of the arena! SPONSORSHIP The club has a sponsorship package available for members to approach local businesses. If every family involved in the club was to find one sponsor the club would benefit greatly. Ideally if you have a close relationship with a local business it makes sense that you be the one to approach them and sell the club. Sponsorship packs are available from Gary Hill.
